Why this project?
With Fable 5 access suspended, I built a skill that ports its behavioral patterns to Opus 4.8 — explicit multi-stage planning, parallel sub-agent delegation, and mandatory self-verification at each step. It won't close the raw capability gap, but it does change how Opus approaches complex tasks. Ran evals comparing with/without: the skill hit 100% on planning and self-critique assertions vs 0% without it.
